Guitar Hero got itself quite hooked on the gaming industry. It started as a PlayStation 2 game and worked its way up to other consoles, such as Xbox, DS, PlayStation 3, PC and, now, the mobile phones will be rocked by this game as well.

Verizon Wireless, together with Hands-On Mobile, one of the world's leading developers of connected games and applications, and Activision, made available (with exclusive rights) the Guitar Hero III mobile game.

The rules of the game are the same as in the "big screen" version. The player must take the role of a rocker, who needs to make his/her crow happy by singing. If you're one of those people that will acquire the game, you'll be jamming anytime, anywhere. The game features the same stunning graphics, the high-quality audio and, what's the most important thing, the addictive gameplay. In the end, this is what made Guitar Hero so highly popular.

The gameplay features four authentic guitars and three venues. The player must press the number keys on their mobile keypad, in order to sync with the colored notes that appear on a scrolling fret board. The mobile version of the game offers 15 songs that one can find on the Guitar Hero console series as well. We can say for sure that "Suck My Kiss", played by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and "Rock You Like A Hurricane" of The Scorpions, are just two of the songs that you'll get by playing this game.

But wait, this is not all. Brought to you by Verizon, any player is in for a little surprise. Via Verizon's Wireless feature, any user has the opportunity to expand the standard repertoire with new vibes, as the company will make available new songs, every month.
