Music games are becoming one of the most sure-fire ways to make money in these tough financial times. They guarantee a lot of entertainment for a relatively small amount of money and generate big profits due to the fact that developers can bring new tracks to the games via DLC (Downloadable Content).

As such, companies such as Activision or Harmonix are pumping out more and more tracks each week in an effort to get players to start rocking out in their games. As Rock Band has already received news about the DLC tracks that will arrive this week, Activision has also detailed the tracks that will make their way to its Guitar Hero: World Tour title.

And it seems that spring is a great time to rock out, as the company revealed that the second Jimmy Hendrix pack, along with songs from legendary band Queen and other few groups, would all make their appearance in the Guitar Hero section from the Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Store and Wii Channel. Here's the complete tracklist with the dates when they will be available:

March 5 - European Track Pack 3

"Break it Out" by Vanilla Sky "In the Shadows" by The Rasmus "C'est Comme Ca" - Les Rita Mitsouko

March 19 - Jim Hendrix Pack 2

"Freedom" "Angel" "Foxey Lady" (live from Woodstock)

-European Track Pack 4

"What Have You Done" by Within Temptation "Hier Kommt Alex" by Die Toten Hosen "Carolina" by M-Clan

March 26 - Queen Track Pack

"We Are The Champions" "Fat Bottomed Girls" "C-lebrity"

Also, on March 26, a re-record of the famous James Bond theme songs will also be available for download for 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points / 1.99 dollars. If you decide to download the track packs, it will cost you 440 MS Points or 5.49 dollars, while individual songs will go for 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points / 1.99 dollars. All in all, it seems that couch rockers will certainly have a great time with these tracks and start rocking out with their friends as soon as the songs will be available for download.
