The development team at ArenaNet is getting ready to introduce the Dragon Bash festival event to Guild Wars 2, with players able to play a number of new mini-games and take part in special activities for special rewards.

The team states, “To honour another year of survival in the shadow of the Elder Dragons, the defiant citizens of Lion's Arch have banded together for a boisterous festival full of fun activities, exclusive rewards and explosive surprises.”

Those who take part will get weapon skins and two sets of dragon wings.

A new character, Marjory Delaqua, will also be introduced to launch a new storyline for dedicated players, dealing with the underworld of Lion’s Arch.

Mini-games added to Guild Wars 2 include: Dragon Ball, Moa Racing, Dragon Effigies and Pinatas.

The MMO event will take place starting on Friday, June 14.
