Developer ArenaNet announces that, in time for real-world Christmas, their Guild Wars 2 MMO will also get a special event called Wintersday, which will include toys created by Toymaker Tixx in the city of Lion’s Arch.
The vent will run from December 14 to January 3 and all the cities in the world of Guild Wars 2 will be involved.
The
official description for the event reads: “The nights may be long and dark, but Tyrians of all races keep joy alive during the ancient holiday of Wintersday. While each race celebrates Wintersday in their own unique way, children all over Tyria share a common love of one thing: toys.”
ArenaNet has not yet offered details on the unique items and quests that will be part of the Wintersday event but it will probably do so closer to its launch.
