Apple is opening a new retail store in China, in a shopping center called Parkland Mall, in Dalian,” a Chinese city known to attract investment from Korea and Japan.

“Apple’s World’s Biggest Flagship Store will be coming soon to Parkland Mall,” said the banners that soon got taken down and torn apart by security guards working for Dalian Department Store.

The store’s owner was reportedly jealous of Parkland Mall for having an Apple Store, so he sent in his troops to push down the Apple Store posters outside the Parkland Mall (video embedded above).

MIC Gadget cites local journalists as saying that Apple retail managers arrived in Dalian to solve the issue, bringing its own security team. The two parties reportedly negotiated for a while. The banners will remain down for now.
