14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Zen Pinball announces that it is getting ready to launch a new table for its line-up of pinball video games, based around the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie, with players able to get it during the coming week.
The team explains in the official announcement that gamers will be able to “Team up with Star Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Groot, and the group's wild card, Rocket Raccoon, as they fight their way through landmark events from both the comics and the upcoming blockbuster film and clash against villains like Yondu and the Ravagers, Nebula, and Ronan the Accuser.”
The new pinball table will start with a four-ball multiball in order to simulate the escape of the heroes from the Kyln, and it will incorporate a number of other unique mechanics in order to simulate the adventures of the comic book heroes.
The Guardians of the Galaxy content will be offered on the PlayStation 4, the PS3 and the Vita handheld from Sony on July 29 in North America and one day later in Europe.
Those who play on the Xbox One will get access to the same content on July 31, while the new table will be offered on the older 360 on July 30.
A Steam version for Pinball FX2 is also set to arrive on the same day, and versions of Guardians of the Galaxy will also be launched on Android, iOS and Amazon.
