Guardians of Middle-Earth Gets New Character Video

The developers at Monolith Productions and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive have released another trailer for the upcoming Massive Online Battle Arena Guardians of Middle-Earth, showing how the various characters can cooperate in order to take on their enemies.

The feature heroes are Hildifons, who is described as a Hobbit interested in fire and who can create explosions from nothing, and Sauron, who is best known as being the lord of the forces that oppose the Ring bearer.

Monolith has also revealed that players can use Arathorn, Aragorn’s father, and Runsig in the game.

The new game will allow good and evil heroes to fight on the same side in the new take on the MOBA genre, a choice that some fans of the series have criticized.

The Lord of the Ring: Guardians of Middle-Earth will be launched on the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft during the fall of the year.
