The service features both over-the-air and PC downloads of purchased videos

Groove Mobile has announced that it will add music videos to 3UK's mobile music service. In addition to over-the-air downloads, the new offering will allow users to download a music video purchased via the mobile phone to the PC.

The service will launch with a catalog of 1,000 videos, three times larger than that offered by the previous mobile-only service. The expanded video music store will include music videos from all four major record labels: Universal Music Group, EMI, Warner Music Group and Sony BMG, as well as from leading independent music labels. To facilitate music discovery the new store presents song pages where users can access both related audio tracks and videos.

The video download service powered by Groove Mobile will allow customers who purchase videos wirelessly to receive an optimized mobile version of the video directly to their handsets and also to download a higher quality WMV video file to the PC. The cost for video downloads will be ?1.49, while audio tracks will be offered at the same price of ?1.29 for existing 3 customers. If a users loses or deletes a video, they can re-download the video up to three times, free of charge.
