In one of her most recent interviews, Kim Kardashian spoke about fiancé Kanye West in very praising terms, saying that even she was surprised to see how involved he was in the wedding planning. It turns out that it’s at his fans’ expense that he’s so.

The rapper should have taken his Yeezus tour to Australia this spring, with the initial dates set for just a few weeks before his May wedding, which will probably take place in Paris and is already being billed as “the wedding of the year.”

In a statement to his fans, Kanye’s management says that, because he’s so busy in the studio working on a new album, fans in the Land Down Under will have to wait until fall to see their idol on stage, performing live material from his latest album, also called “Yeezus.”

The official reason is that Kanye’s recording schedule won’t allow for touring right now, but as Radar Online would have it, the actual reason for the delay is that he’s too busy planning the wedding. Some fans even believe that Kim herself might have asked him to postpone the concerts until after they’re wed, so that he can give the planning his 100 percent.

According to insiders speaking with the e-zine, Kanye is a bit “out of control” about the planning. He is usually very involved in everything he does and he tends to become a bit of a control freak because of it, but this is a new high (or low) even for him.

“It’s just insane. Kanye has basically billed it as… breaking the boundaries of what to expect when it comes to a wedding. This will be the event of the year. Think fashion runway, stage show performance. Think avant grade. Think nothing like you’ve ever seen,” a source explains.

Kanye initially wanted the wedding to take place at the famous Versailles palace because, he thought, he and Kim were royalty who deserved nothing less for their big day. Much to their disappointment, they were told the Palace would not host such an event.

They’re yet to disclose the location of their second best choice, but Kim did confirm that it would be in Paris, just like she confirmed that Kanye was pretty much in charge of all the planning.

Cameras for her reality show, the E!-produced Keeping Up With the Kardashians, will most definitely be on location so worry not: whatever Kanye’s cooking, we will see on TV when the wedding special airs.
