Rumor has it that Kate made the trip to Bali with only one purpose in mind: that of uniting her destiny to that of her soul mate, the Babyshambles frontman and almost a fixture in rehab clinics all over the world, Pete Doherty.

Sources say that Moss flew there on Monday and was immediately followed by 14 close friends and family members, including one of her children and her brother. Until Friday, when Pete was arrested, she could talk of nothing else than her marriage to the rock star and about how he is going to prepare a beautiful ceremony, which was also to include some poetry reading (the groom's own poems, that is).

When Doherty was detained on Friday, and there was no way that he be released until the court hearing that took place yesterday, the blushing bride had to admit to herself that she had been left stranded at the alter. Sources say that she is on the verge of breaking down from the sheer pain of the disappointment.
