Grml, a bootable live system (Live-CD) based on Debian which includes a collection of GNU/Linux apps designed for system administrators, is now at version 2013.02 RC1.

According to the developers, this is the first release candidate for 2013.02 and has been codenamed “Grumpy Grinch.”

According to the developers, this release brings the Grml tools towards the upcoming Debian stable release (AKA wheezy), provides up-to-date hardware support, and fixes known bugs from the previous Grml release.

Also, the distribution is now based on Linux kernel 3.7.6 (no additional modules are shipped) and several bugs have been fixed.

A complete list of updates and fixes is available on the official website.
