Long story short, it was this past Tuesday that police officers in Ohio County in West Virginia, US, listed a grill spatula not all that different to the one pictured next to this article as an assault weapon in one of their case reports.
By the looks of it, the grill spatula in question was used by a 25-year-old woman named Stephanie Platt to beat her own sister bloody, Wide Awake America informs.
Police officers say that the two women got into a fight and that Stephanie Platt grabbed hold of the spatula and used it to hit her sister in the head several times. What's more, she even went as far as to bite her.
The fight was broken up by the girls' mother, who also alerted authorities. Following this incident, the sister had to be rushed to a local hospital, where doctors treated her wounds.
It is said that, as a result of this attack on her sister, the 25-year-old now faces a felony malicious wounding charge. It is unclear whether or not the woman will be made to spend at least a few days behind bars.
