Some people are so much in love with their iPad that they simply can't imagine it running out of power any any given moment, even when they're driving from home to work or viceversa, and this is exactly the reason why the folks over at Griffin Technology have introduced the nifty little device you'll read about as follows, namely the PowerJolt Micro.

So, what we're talking about here is, in fact, a nifty little car charger that, beside the aforementioned Apple tablet, is also designed to work quite well with some of the other products in the lineup of the company from Cupertino, California, such as the iPhone or iPod touch.

The device has quite a low-profile, miniature form-factor, which is actually quite good, since it will only take up a minimum amount of space around the car's main console, and a fairly attractive external finish, all things considered.

The PowerJolt Micro car charger from Griffin Technology supports a 12 V DC input, while the output current is set at 5 VDC at 2.1 amps, the total amount of power it is capable of delivering being set at around 10 watts, an amount that should prove to be quite enough for the particular needs of all the Apple devices we've mentioned up until now.

Furthermore, it's also interesting to mention that the charger packs a SmartFuse circuit breaker, which means that there are no fuses to replace, thus making the whole thing a lote more easier to use.

If you're interested in Griffin Technology's solution for keeping your beloved iPad fully charged when driving, then you should know that the PowerJolt Micro is actually a fairly affordable accessory, the device selling for just around 25 US dollars, which is rather small sum to pay for a device that will allow the Apple tablet to remain charged (and active) while you're driving it from one place to another.
