Grid 2 Out in Late May, Gets Pre-Order Bonuses

The realistic racing game arrives onto the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 before summer

Grid 2 will be officially released on May 28, in North America, and May 31, in Europe and the rest of the world, for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms.

Grid 2 is one of the most anticipated racing games of the year, as developer Codemasters promises to deliver a true sequel to the classic Grid game, once again emphasizing realism and top-notch simulation, while adding plenty of action-filled events.

After hearing quite a few details and seeing plenty of screenshots or videos, Codemasters has now pinned a release date on Grid 2, confirming that the racing title will make its way onto the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in late May.

More specifically, North American gamers will get Grid 2 on May 28, while those in Europe and the rest of the world receive it on May 31.

What's more, Codemasters also revealed the different pre-order bonuses that will be available at various retailers from North America, including GameStop, Best Buy, or Amazon, so check out the full details below, via an official statement.

GameStop - GRID 2: Turbo-Charged Edition

McLaren Racing Pack: Receive the exclusive McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Special Edition car to race in single-player, multiplayer and a special online event; plus expand the game with two new routes around the Brands Hatch GP circuit.

GTR Racing Pack: Receive the exclusive Nissan GT-R SpecV road car to race in single-player, multiplayer and an exclusive online event; plus experience all five routes around the Yas Marina circuit by day.

Best Buy - GRID 2: IndyCar Edition

IndyCar Pack: Receive the exclusive Dallara IndyCar and the IndyCar Pace car to race in single-player, multiplayer and an exclusive online event; plus expand the game with two new routes around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Oval Circuit.

Amazon - GRID 2: Head Start Edition
