Codemasters has posted two videos with its upcoming Grid 2 racing games, showing off actual gameplay from the new title.
Grid 2 was revealed to the world last month and promises to improve upon its already impressive predecessor by once again combining racing simulator gameplay with top notch damage mechanics and offering a variety of different events.
Now, after checking out a few trailers and screenshots, Codemasters has showed off two all-gameplay videos taken from its demo stations at the Eurogamer Expo.
The first video, found above, sees a race take place on the California Coast and features a head-to-head duel between a current day Boss Mustang and a classic Mustang Mach 1.
The second trailer, available below, takes place on the streets of Chicago where various muscle cars, like the Boss Mustang, the Corvette Z06 or the Camaro SS battle for supremacy.
Codemasters insists that this is footage from a pre-alpha build of Grid 2, but it’s still quite impressive.
The actual game is set to appear in 2013 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
