Gresso announced recently the launch of yet another exquisite mobile phone, the Lady Diamond, which, as the name suggests, has been developed especially for ladies. The new device comes shortly after Skeleton Gold, and the maker also announced that it would fit into its Avantgarde Skeleton collection.

The new luxury phone is priced at $5,500, which means that not all ladies out there will be able to purchase one, yet it only comes in a very limited edition, as Gresso announced that there would be only 8 units of the Lady Diamond released to the market. For what it's worth, the handset indeed has all the great looks, mainly given by its red color, although it is a rather expensive device.

For those who might wonder how the phone came to have such an elevated price tag, the answer is a rather simple one. The materials that the handset is made of are what makes it so expensive, as we are talking about “high-tech ceramic of Magenta Diamond color,” as the company states, as well as 18K gold on the function keys, 4 white diamonds on the navigation keys, not to mention the genuine leather. On the back, the Lady Diamond features a transparent sapphire crystal cover, which is already known as a mark for Gresso devices.

As for the capabilities of the mobile phone, it runs under Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6 Standard operating system, includes GSM/GPRS connectivity, as well as Bluetooth capabilities, Music player, a 2-megapixel photo snapper and 64MB of built-in storage memory expandable through a memory card slot that supports up to 2GB of additional storage space. Furthermore, it also comes with a TFT display, able to provide a 240 x 320 pixel resolution.

Gresso also announced that the new Lady Diamond was already available, yet only in Russia.
