14 DAY TRIAL // Gresso, the company specialized in luxurious phones has just announced the upcoming availability of yet another expensive phone, the Regal Black.
Apparently, Regal Black is part of the Avantgarde collection, which, according to the manufacturer, is “inspired by marine and speed themes.”
If you like bulky handsets that stand out, than Gresso’s phones are a good choice, though there are other companies that focus on these kind of luxury phones.
Design-wise, Regal Black features quite an exquisite design, with a sharpened bottom and minimalist style. The phone is made from a solid titanium material and glass, which gives it a wow factor.
According to Gresso, this is the first time it makes a phone case as a one-piece detail. This is done with high-precision equipment, allowing the manufacturer to cut complex frame geometries.
Moreover, the Regal phone is hand polished, and the black PVD-surface cover offers the device extra protection.
Both front and back parts of the chassis are made of tempered mineral glass. Gresso took advantage of exclusive tinting technology, which was especially created for the Regal series phones.
In addition, the phone’s keypad is engineered from a certain type of steel, which is common for tough service conditions. Most importantly, the Regal Black phone is handcrafted, which is why the details are impeccably made.
Gresso confirmed that the phone measures 121 x 46 x 12mm and weigh 130g (battery included). No other technical details are known for the moment, but the manufacturer states that Regal Black phone will run Nokia’s S40 UI.
Customers who would like to check this one out should know that the Regal Black will be available for purchase at authorized resellers and at Gresso’s online store for no less than $5000 (3770 EUR).
It is also worth mentioning Gresso will only manufacture 333 Regal Black phones. No idea why, but they will be out next month.
