14 DAY TRIAL // Gresso Company, the maker of the successful Lady Diamond Collection line of mobile phones, announced on Tuesday the release of two more series of handsets, Lady Gold and Ultramarine Gold. The company also said that the collection was already available for purchase, starting May 12, and that the price for a phone had been set at 4800 Euros.
Lady Gold, says Gresso, does not come to the market as a simple collection, but as an ode to femininity, elegance and beauty, as the main feature it comes with is its looks. The model comes with a case sporting a brilliant red color, which, the company states, is the result of technological processes, as it has been coated “with several layers of high-tech ceramic of Magenta Diamond color.” In addition, it also includes special sparkles in the coating, meant to offer shine and radiance to the case.
The Ultramarine Gold special line of handsets comes with a sparkling ultramarine case. Unlike Lady Gold Collection, which is dressed in red to signify passion and affection, this series comes in a blue color, which “represents a blending of strength and serenity,” and “is the color of the sky and the ocean.” Gresso also announced that both lines included a limited number of 15 units.
Both Lady Gold and Ultramarine Gold Collections come with a transparent sapphire back, which allow users to admire the inner mechanism of the device. At the same time, the case of the phones is made out of titanium, which is covered with high-tech ceramic. The keys on the handsets are made of 18K gold. According to the company, it used an ultra-precision turning technology to make the keys, with enhanced care to each detail.
The front panel of the phones sports a gold triangle that can be seen on all Gresso phones. In addition, the keyboard features roman numerals, a Gresso innovation, while the battery cover comes with a magnetic lock and is made out of stainless steel decorated with genuine leather.
The technical specifications of the new phones include the Windows Mobile 6 Standard operating system, 2GB of internal memory, SMS, MMS and e-mail functionality, Internet Explorer, Outlook, WAP 2.0, GPRS capabilities, Bluetooth connectivity, mini-USB, PC Synchronization, voice recorder, MP3 player and a 2-megapixel photo snapper.
