“If you’re dead, you can’t pollute,” reads the campaign’s slogan

American news organization, The Onion, recently released a video which takes the idea of being environmentally-friendly a bit too far.

In this satire concerning green driving and the need to diminish our ecological footprint, the organization takes Toyota's Prius EV and transforms it into a car so green-oriented, it kills its driver to keep him from polluting the environment.

The slogan summarizes this new Prius Solution in a rather blunt manner and states the obvious: “If you're dead, you can't pollute.”

We're not going to get into the details of how it is exactly that this vehicle accomplishes its eco-mission; you'll just have to watch the video if you want to find out.

However, we do want to point out that, joking aside, safeguarding the environment is indeed a serious matter which should concern us all.
