These socks are tough enough to last a lifetime, manufacturers say

Since green-oriented behavior is all about not wasting resources (textile fibers included), it seems reasonable enough to suggest buying a pair of socks that supposedly last forever.

No loose threads, no holes, no thinning of the fabric, manufacturers promise. Apparently, these socks are marketed by a company known as Socrates Sock Co., whose main focus is that of presenting their customers with socks “as sophisticated as they are.”

It case anyone is wondering what makes these socks last forever, the explanation is quite simple: the material used to manufacture them is basically a mixture of lycra, military grade elastic and Kevlar (you know, that stuff used when making body armors).

Not to mention the fact that a state-of-the-art anti-droop technology makes sure one never ever has to bend and pull their socks up.

All in all, it seems like a pretty good investment.
