Green Tea Saves Erections!

- It cuts off by 50 % prostate cancer!

By: Stefan Anitei, Science Editor

Now, we know the secret of those sexual techniques from the Chinese Daoism and Indian Kamashuthra. It's in the tea!

There is a great danger threatening a man during his life: the prostate cancer. The surgery for prostate cancer leaves most patients impotent, as nerves can be touched. Moreover, this
is the second leading cause of cancer death in men: one British dies each hour due to this. One in six men is hit by prostate cancer and 28,000 men die of prostate cancer annually, in the U.S. alone.

But, the rate of prostate cancer is much lower in Asian than in Western countries, that's why a Japanese team assumed amongst other factors that this could be connected to high intake of green tea in the oriental countries. Their results revealed that five or more cups of green tea consumed daily could decrease by 50 % the risks of experiencing advanced prostate cancer.

"A research team from Japan's health ministry surveyed 49,920 men aged 40-69 across the nation in 1990 and 1993 and followed up on their health until 2004", said a spokesman of the National Cancer Center.

404 subjects have been diagnosed during that time interval with prostate cancer, 114 being advanced cases, 271 localized type, and in 19 cases, the stage was undetermined.

"An analysis found the risks of having advanced prostate cancer was 50 % lower for men who drink five or more cups of green tea a day compared with those who have less than one cup. Green tea was not associated with localized prostate cancer. Green tea may be associated with a decreased risk of advanced prostate cancer", wrote the authors.

By the moment, the researchers can only guess that a green tea chemical, called catechin, could be involved in decreasing risks, by lowering the amounts of testosterone, the male sex hormone, representing the main risk factor involved in the development of the prostate cancer.
