Companies often issue a press release to trumpet the availability of a product, but Green House really let the floodgates loose this once, revealing many SLC and MLC solid state drives.

Solid state drives are something that Green House seems to be especially fond of, if the sheer size of tis newest batch of products is any indication.

Not cutting any corners, the company figured it may as well cover as wide a capacity range as possible, putting both SLC (single-level cell) and MLC (multi-level cell) chips to work.

They are all expected to start shipping in Japan as early as next month (September 2011), for prices that have yet to be disclosed.

Then again, given just how many of them there are, and with both mSATA and half-slim SATA models available, it should be safe to hope for some affordable units to be mixed in with the others.

Six capacity options exist for the line of MLC-based drives, these being 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB, respectively.

Their transfer speeds range between 34 MB/s and 200 MB/s when reading and 12 MB to 200 MB/s when writing.

Meanwhile, there are only five SLC capacities (1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB), with read speeds of 29 to 120 MB/s and writing rates of 17 MB/s and 100 MB/s.

All products are built with the SATA 3.0 Gbps interface and use a Phison controller, plus 64 MB of cache memory.

They are backed by one-year warranties, have a MTBF of 1 million hours and support both TRIM and NCQ.

Finally, those prospective customers that would like a full list of what capacity each model has, and at what transfer rates it operates, can go here and get better acquainted with them.
