Coming to offer its own two cents on the display market, Green House chose, this once, to bring forth an LCD that has more than decent specs while still not consuming too much energy.

As always, the display market is getting updated, with new monitors and TVs, plus other sorts of panels, debuting on a regular basis.

In this particular instance, it is Green House that is making its addition to the monitor segment, in the form of GH-JAH243SHLB.

One might remember this company for such things as the GH-USD16K, a USB-connected monitor of 15.6 inches.

Then again, the outfit is just as famous for its storage products, like the newest mSATA and SATA SSDs.

This once, the company has already put up the official product page on its website, one that people versed in Japanese can check out here.

That said, the newcomer has a display diagonal length of 23.6 inches, which is more than big enough for most people.

LED backlighting brings to the equation both contrast and a low power consumption, for the green factor.

In fact, the Green House GH-JAH243SHLB even has an ECO mode, which can hold power draw at 18W.

As for everything else, the company implemented a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 (static ratio is 1,000:1), as well as a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m2. Furthermore, the response time of 5ms (2ms GTG. Gray-to-gray).

Other specifications include a pair of 2W speakers and multiple connectors (a couple of HDMI ports, DVI and D-Sub).

All the above features, along with the native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (Full HD) are packed inside a frame with a thickness of 19mm (and glossy bezel).

Sales should commence over the next couple of weeks, in Japan at least, where the price will be the rough equivalent of $294.
