Sadly, that power efficiency comes at the expense of image resolution

Green House has a pretty suggestive name. After all, if you're called “green,” it means you have some experience in making electronics power-efficient. The latest monitor proves this.

It's not some incredible wonder though, not with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels on a 20-inch panel.

Then again, it's not supposed to be. Green House thought of office workers and how businesses are bound to care more about energy efficiency than image quality.

In the end, Full HD resolution isn't that essential if you're not watching films.

Anyway, the newcomer is an edge-lit 20-inch LCD with LED, 5ms response time, D-Sub/DVI inputs, contrast ratio of 1000:1 (dynamic contrast ratio tops 5,000,000:1) and a maximum power consumption of 30W.

Sadly, the (surely low) price was not revealed, but at least we know that a 3-year warranty is included. There are white and black models.
