The people here only eat what they grow and gave up entirely on the perks of modern life

A group of people from Greece recently decided that, given the ongoing economic crisis, it might not be such a bad idea to switch to sustainable development and create an isolated society which only consumes what it produces.

Thus, their diet is as organic as it gets, and they do not in the least depend on the national grid for energy. It is not difficult to guess that most of them are vegetarians.

Although they might have taken things a bit too far, their isolated community stands as proof that green-living is indeed well-within reach, and that it is possible to carry on with your living without negatively impacting on the environment.

In case you were wondering, we believe that one must indeed try to reduce its ecological footprint to a minimum, but such extreme measures are bound to fail, should they be implemented on larger scales.
