The hacktivists claim they will focus their efforts on countries that support Israel

Not all hacktivists are taking a break from Operation Israel. The members of the Bangladesh Grey Hat Hacker (BGHH) collective are continuing the offensive that they started some time ago against Israel.

However, this time they haven’t attacked Israeli systems directly. Instead, they’ve breached and defaced several subdomains owned by Greece’s Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace (damt.gov.gr).

“Today we have targeted the Government of Greece. From now we are going to attack the countries which directly or indirectly support Israel. This is start of the attacks,” one of the hackers told me in an email.

The hackers pledge to continue launching attacks against Israel and those who support the country.

This is not the first time when the site of the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace is hacked. Back in May, Kosova hackers also managed to breach the organization’s systems.

At the time of writing, damt.gov.gr and the affected subdomains were unavailable.
