Police officers proved to have a sense of humor

Great Manchester Police proved to have a sense of humor when they left a hilarious note to the occupant of a property, informing they had raided his house and seized the drugs they found.

Given that nobody was at home at a suspected marijuana hideaway in Worsley, Salford, police officers kicked in the door just to discover that there was an impressive crop of 72 cannabis plants inside.

After confiscating the cannabis plants, they left a friendly note asking the tenant to get in touch. The polite calling card was also informing the pot grower that there was “no cannabis left.”

“We need to talk. Please contact GMP on 101 and ask for Wigan Div[ision]. Unfortunately you were not at home… and have no cannabis left. Many thanks,” the modified printed note said.

The message was then posted on Twitter on the GMP Salford West account and proved very popular, as it has been retweeted almost 2,000 times.

The note was left on March 15, but it is not known if the suspect has replied.

Although some may think that bragging about it was an unprofessional thing to do, I guess it was just the officers' way of warning the pot grower that he was being watched.
