2015 is now in full swing and gamers have finally started, hopefully, to clear out their backlog of games purchased during the many different sales that happened during the winter holiday season across PC, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, or Xbox 360.

As such, it's time to look towards the actual new year through our own Incoming 2015 series. As you can see the from the multitude of games that have already received their columns, the next 12 months are filled with a variety of impressive games.

January already has big games set to appear

The avalanche of new releases begins right from 2015's first month, with Dying Light rolling out across the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, delivering an all-new zombie experience with parkour elements and other surprises. Saints Row: Gat out of Hell is also set to appear during this month, alongside Saints Row 4: Re-Elected for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

January is also great for PC gamers as Grand Theft Auto 5 is finally going to appear on their own platform, after gracing already the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles back in 2014 or even 2013. Assassin's Creed Rogue, the single decent game in the series that appeared in fall of last year for PS3 and Xbox 360 is also set to appear on the PC during this time.

February is also looking really good thanks to Evolve, the new multiplayer shooter from Turtle Rock Studios, which brings together a cooperative experience and a competitive one through the four hunters versus one monster system. Also this month is going to see The Order: 1886 debut on PS4 with the promise of great visuals and hectic gameplay.

However, the real ball begins in March, as a lot of big titles, such as Battlefield Hardline, Bloodborne, Project Cars, and many others, are currently set to appear at that time.

Spring and summer are looking good and might get crowded

The rest of spring includes The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Mortal Kombat X, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, and quite a few others that don't have accurate release dates.

Summer begins with Batman: Arkham Knight on June 2, and you can expect a few other titles to appear in those rather scarce months, such as The Division or even Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, not to mention Just Cause 3.

Many big titles are already expected this fall

The fall season, as always, will no doubt see another avalanche of big games, as already quite a few are expected during that time, from Halo 5: Guardians on Xbox One, to Uncharted 4: A Thief's End on PS4, to yearly installments like Assassin's Creed Victory or the new Call of Duty game made by Treyarch.

Considering all these things, you can bet that 2015 might even surpass 2014 in terms of great titles across a variety of platforms. However, we don't even know what Valve or other companies are planning to announce at upcoming conventions like GDC 2015 in March, E3 2015 in June, or Gamescom 2015 in August, so expect to hear much more in the future.
