The alpha version misses only a handful of functions

Good news for Android users who prefer to customize their smartphones, as Gravity Box, an almost mandatory tool for Xposed Framework, is now available for Lollipop.

Just like Xposed, Gravity Box wasn't compatible with Android 5.0 Lollipop and adding support for the new version of the operating system took a lot of time and work.

However, XDA recognized forum user C3C076 has put a lot of time and work into Gravity Box all-in-one tweak box and has finally released an alpha version.

This Gravity Box module, just like Xposed Framework for Android 5.0 Lollipop, is currently in early stage of development, so there will be some issues and missing features that might or might not be added in next versions.

It's also worth mentioning that Gravity Box has been tested on Nexus 5, which means it should be fully compatible with all Nexus devices running stock Android operating system. Additional support for Motorola Moto G is promised as soon as the module is tested enough.

The all-in-one tool should work on all devices powered by stock Lollipop

As many of you probably know by now, Gravity Box uses Xposed framework, which provides an interface for injecting code into any application, including system services. This allows users to modify apps and system services on the move.

Although it has been tested only on Nexus 5, Gravity Box should run on any device powered by stock Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

If you already have Xposed framework installed on your Android smartphone, then you should know there's a long list of custom ROMs not supported by Gravity Box, so you should not use it on them: CM, AOSP, ROOTBOX, AOKP, SLIM, CATACLYSM, OMNI and their clones.

For more details on what features you will be able to take advantage of by installing Gravity Box and what issues you might encounter, make sure to head over to original thread.
