The plugins can be used for music scores insertion and Zeitgeist integration

Zim, a graphical text editor that is used to maintain a collection of wiki pages and that makes use of various plugins to provide additional functionality, has reached version 0.57.

Zim 0.57 bolsters an impressive suite of changes and updates. Most of them bring enhancement and fixes for plugins. Highlights of Zim 0.57:

• The side panes have been reworked, which means that the plugins can be positioned on either side; • The configuration of external applications is now a lot simpler; • A critical bug fix for the version control plugin has been implemented; • The attachment browser has been improved; • The calendar plugin and the tasklist plugin have been modified; • The option to export to ReST has been added; • Two new plugins have been added, one for inserting music scores using GNU Lilypond, and the other for Zeitgeist integration
