It's only been a few days since Rockstar Games confirmed its latest smash hit, Grand Theft Auto V, which is now available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and the game is now listed on Steam.

Valve has confirmed that it will start selling Rockstar's title very soon, though the company did not share any details on when exactly Grand Theft Auto V would go on sale.

The good news is that the game is now available on Steam, even though it doesn't have a price tag attached to it. Grand Theft Auto V's Steam page says that the game is coming in fall 2014, but pre-orders should open in the next couple of weeks or even sooner.

According to developer Rockstar Games, “Grand Theft Auto V for PC will take full advantage of the power of PC to deliver across-the-board enhancements including increased resolution and graphical detail, denser traffic, greater draw distances, upgraded AI, new wildlife, and advanced weather and damage effects for the ultimate open world experience.”

Unfortunately, the hardware requirements for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V aren't listed on Steam yet, but we suspect that they will be available as soon as Valve opens up pre-orders for the game.

Another major reveal for PC gamers is the fact that Grand Theft Auto V also includes the online aspect of the game. Dubbed Grand Theft Auto Online, the ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto universe allows players to explore the vast world.

PC gamers will also be able to increase their status among the criminal ranks by playing together to complete Jobs for cash, purchase properties, vehicles and character upgrades, compete in traditional competitive modes, or create new content to play and share with the Grand Theft Auto community.

Speaking of which, Rockstar has confirmed that all the new content and gameplay created and released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations, will also be available in Grand Theft Auto Online for PC.

Just as we have mentioned in our previous article, players will have the ability to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice on PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC.

Last but not least, Rockstar has also confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V for PC will also feature a video editor designed for advanced movie-making. We will keep an eye out for any additional changes on the game's exact release date, so stay tuned for more updates on this one.
