Grand Theft Auto V Won't Be Present at Gamescom 2012

Sad news for fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, as Rockstar Games has confirmed that the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V title won't be presented at Gamescom 2012.

GTA V was showed to the world at the end of 2011, when Rockstar revealed the first trailer of the title.

Since then, there have been plenty of rumors and speculation but Rockstar mentioned time and time again that it won't be sharing any more details until the time is right.

Thanks to a presentation video for Gamescom 2012, which featured footage of the original GTA V trailer, fans started hoping that Rockstar would show off the game, or at least more details about it at the expo in Germany.

Sadly, that won't happen, as a Gamescom representative has told CVG that Rockstar isn't scheduled to attend the 2012 edition of the expo.

According to him, the GTA V footage from the video was included due to an error, so fans shouldn't get excited about finally hearing more news concerning the open world game.
