Take-Two Interactive, the publishing partner of Rockstar Games, has confirmed some of its upcoming releases, but declined to pin an actual date on the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V, arguably one of the biggest releases since the last installment in the series.

Rockstar Games finally uncovered GTA V at the beginning of the month, showcasing the first trailer and revealing a few scarce details about its location, the city of Los Santos, although a big batch of information was leaked shortly after that.

Now, many were expecting to hear some more details about the new Grand Theft Auto game earlier this week, when Take-Two Interactive presented its own financial results and future plans.

Unfortunately for eager GTA fans, the company's CEO, Strauss Zelnick, released just a few details about GTA V, hyping it up for the Take-Two investors.

"Looking ahead, Take-Two has the strongest development pipeline in the company's history. At the cornerstone of our stellar line-up is the recently announced next instalment of Rockstar Games' iconic franchise that has sold-in more than 114 million units - Grand Theft Auto V."

"The creative team at Rockstar Games continues to set benchmarks for excellence with every new release and we're confident that consumers' enthusiasm will be rewarded with a breathtaking entertainment experience that can only be provided by Grand Theft Auto."

In Take-Two's future plans, Grand Theft Auto V still has a TBA (To Be Announced) release date, so it seems that Rockstar has complete freedom over how and when it's going to release details on its next big project.

This doesn't stop analysts from speculating that we might get to see GTA V as early as next summer, with Michael Pachter saying that such a release would guarantee huge sales and make many gamers spend many months after that engulfed in the virtual world of Los Santos.
