Grand Theft Auto V is supposed to receive some brand new details later today but a new report has already surfaced on the web, claiming that the protagonist of the open world game is an East Coast gangster who supposedly retired to Los Santos.

GTA V is one of the most awaited games of next year and many rumors started surfacing about the title ever since developer Rockstar presented the first trailer for it one year ago.

Now, ahead of the game’s proper revealing later today, as part of a cover story with Game Informer magazine, UK magazine Shortlist, via Eurogamer, claims that the protagonist of GTA V is a retired gangster from the East coast who headed out West to forget about his troubled past.

What’s more, the website also found an interview with famous rapper The Game, who seemingly confirms that he’s reprising his role as Mark “B-Dup” Wayne in GTA V, after bringing him to life in the previous GTA: San Andreas title.

As of yet, however, nothing is confirmed about GTA V, so look forward to hearing more details soon.
