The development team at Rockstar has delivered a new patch for Grand Theft Auto V, labeled 1.0.3, before the weekend, in order to ostensibly eliminate all the connection problems that gamers have been reporting with the game since it was launched on both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

The official support thread for the title has a line saying that “This issue has been resolved as of today. If you are still experiencing connection problems, please check out our connection troubleshooting guide.”

Unfortunately, it seems that the developers have failed to completely eliminate the problems with GTA V, and a number of gamers are reporting that their game no longer starts at the moment or it gets stuck at about 20 percent on the loading screen.

The Online mode is also sluggish for a part of the community and fans are saying that the classic measures that were supposed to improve overall performance do not have any impact at the moment.

The CE-34878-0 error also seems to be making a comeback for some GTA V users and those affected by it should use the steps outlined on the official support site.

Some players are saying that completely deleting the game and then re-downloading and re-installing it tends to solve the new connection trouble.

Rockstar has not yet offered a clear update on the matter and it’s unclear whether the issue can be solved by launching a new patch for GTA V on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

Rockstar is aiming to deliver long-term support

The GTA V launch on current-gen platforms comes with improved gameplay and graphics and with the introduction of an entirely new first-person mode which is designed to put gamers at the heart of the world created by the development team.

The Heists update for the Online mode is also live on all platforms, allowing gamers to engage in massive robberies cooperatively, with some cool rewards offered to those who complete them.

Rockstar says that it wants to continue adding new content to the game in the coming months, while also giving players more tools to make their own events, so that the multiplayer experience remains attractive for as long as possible.

It seems that more single-player experiences, possibly introducing new characters, will be launched for GTA V, with an announcement for at least one of them set to arrive during E3 2015.
