It seems that the development team at Rockstar is getting ready to launch new content for the Online mode of Grand Theft Auto V on August 12, with an announcement probably coming during the Sony press conference at Gamescom 2014 and the actual deliver of the DLC coming during the same day.

The information comes from a dedicated fan of the game, called DomisLive, who has managed to get access to some code from the Xbox Marketplace which shows that DLC is planned to arrive on that date, although the leak does not mention the actual name of the package that will be launched.

Both the Hipster and the Independence Day updates for GTA V Online were revealed via similar leaks.

The fan community for the Rockstar title is at the moment debating whether they will get access to the Casino update, a military themed pack or if the developers are finally planning to launch the delayed Heist update.

GTA V Online has managed to remain very popular with players of the series since it was introduced in the fall of last year and Rockstar is delivering regular events and content drops in order to keep the community satisfied.

The full reveal will take place on August 12 but the company might make an announcement before that date.
