Take-Two Interactive, the publishing partner of Grand Theft Auto V developer Rockstar Games, has just revealed its financial earnings and forecast, hinting that the open-world game might be released after March 31, 2013, in its next fiscal year.

Take-Two has been a longtime partner of Rockstar and helped with the publishing of many titles from the studio, including its blockbuster Grand Theft Auto ones.

Now, after Rockstar has confirmed that GTA V will come out in spring 2013, Take-Two has hinted that the release will happen in either April or May.

More specifically, in its financial forecast, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick expects the company to earn more revenue in fiscal year 2014.

“With Grand Theft Auto 5 slated for spring 2013, we are poised to generate substantial revenue and earnings growth in fiscal year 2014,” he said, via Joystiq.

Considering that the new fiscal year starts after March 31, 2013, it’s a safe bet that GTA V will be launched shortly after that.
