Grand Theft Auto V is on its way to PC, and it might reach the platform with a number of new and yet unannounced gameplay features.

The game has been out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 home consoles for quite a while, and it also made the jump to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November last year. Now people who haven’t yet touched it since it first came out, back in 2013, are waiting for it to make its debut on Windows PC, on March 24.

Other gamers decided that waiting was for chumps, and got a little more involved in the process of hunting down more information regarding the upcoming release.

Playing sleuth around the Internet, some people managed to unearth some rather interesting images and information regarding online heists.

According to rockstargame.ru, Grand Theft Auto V players will soon be able to make use of thermite during heists. Thermite is used in demolition, construction, and was widely utilized in incendiary bombs and sabotages in World War 2.

Things are about to get explosive

It burns at around 2,2k degrees Celsius, which makes it ideal for quickly burning through metal, which in turn makes its use in heists pretty obvious. When you need to find a way to quickly get in and out of a place that features metal locks or protection, thermite is your best bet.

In addition to this, the website also mentions the presence of a new helicopter, a ton of new weapons and equipment, as well as a flare gun, which could be utilized to communicate a change of plans to the getaway driver.

Developer Rockstar Games has made no such reveals yet, so for the time being, there is no guarantee that any of this will make it in the game yet, but we’ll be back with the news as soon as we hear anything.
