Grand Theft Auto V is looking all but confirmed right now, as a series of casting calls for actors in the New York area hint at some of the flamboyant characters that might appear in the next installment of the extremely popular open world franchise.

Rockstar, the developer of the GTA series, has been keeping a tight lid on things, and refrained from making any comments on the next title in the franchise, Grand Theft Auto V.

Recently though, the game has received quite a hefty amount of speculation, because Rockstar and its publishing partner, Take-Two, have been registering website domain names that hint at some of the things you might find in the future title.

Now, things are getting even clearer, as GTA fans have uncovered a series of casting calls for voice actors in the New York City area, filed by Take-Two.

This might not be so important, but the descriptions are fairly flamboyant, so to speak, so it's pretty obvious that some of these characters will appear in Grand Theft Auto V.

The descriptions of the roles are quite interesting, as these include characters like "a liberal young male who believes in a conspiracy made by republicans to undermine America," a "young female obsessed with parties, always dreaming of being a Hollywood celebrity," or "a young, fast-talking boy fighting for the right of young boys to drink alcohol."

Other, more awkward characters include a "white creepy man who thinks that technology is a poison against the wilderness," and a "man-boy love activist who just got released from an Indonesian prison."

Besides the out-of-the-ordinary characters, the actors are also required to submit a profile photo, meaning that their appearance might factor in the actual game.

Seeing as how Rockstar is pioneering a new face scanning technology with the upcoming L.A. Noire, it's pretty safe to say that we might also see it in action in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V.

As of yet, however, the game hasn't even been confirmed by Rockstar, so we'll have to wait and see if these characters are actually going to star in the future title.
