After revealing the first actual trailer for Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar Games has now revealed the first details on the game, including which of its internal studios is developing it, where it's going to take place, and how it's the "most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created."

GTA V was awaited for quite some time and fans were forced to endure a week of anticipation before the first actual trailer appeared on the web.

Now, after yesterday's reveal of the first GTA V video, Rockstar has now released the first details on the game, by confirming that it's now in "full development."

"Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V heads to the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches in the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created," the company said.

"A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, present day Southern California."

As you can see, the game takes place only in Los Santos, instead of the whole San Andreas state, like the previous GTA: San Andreas. As of yet, however, a release date has yet to be confirmed.
