The official PlayStation Blog confirms that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is launching on the PlayStation 3 home consoles from Sony on December 12.The game was rated by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board in the first half of the year and the
Hong Kong office was the first to mention the official launch date.
The core Grand Theft Auto game and Vice City were released on the PlayStation 3 during September.
Rockstar has also delivered iOS versions of the game in the last few weeks, trying to expose as many players as possible to the franchise.
At the moment, the studio is also working on Grand Theft Auto V, which will be launched on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 in the spring of 2013, with versions for the PC and the Wii U also in the works.
