Rockstar Games has announced that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Grand Theft Auto V will come out on November 18, 2014, with the PC edition following a little bit later on, scheduled for launch on January 27, 2015.

There have been numerous reports lately, pegging the release of GTA V sometime in November, and apparently, for once, everyone was right, and the next-gen edition of the famed action adventure video game actually is coming out in just two months.

A lot of new things

Grand Theft Auto V for PC, Xbox One and PS4 will feature a wide range of visual and technical improvements, making the entire experience more immersive than ever before.

The game will come packed with new weapons, vehicles and activities, as well as much denser traffic and an overhauled damage effects system. Lovers of the great outdoors will be pleased to find out that the next-gen version of the title will land with a brand new foliage system, additional wildlife, as well as enhanced weather effects.

Players who pre-order Rockstar Games' masterpiece will get a cool million in in-game bonus cash to spend across Grand Theft Auto V as well as GTA Online, spread evenly between the two titles.

In addition to this, players returning to the experience from the earlier versions of the game, from Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4, will find a lot of new and exclusive content, including rare versions of classic vehicles from all across the series to collect, as well as new activities including wildlife photography and shooting range challenges.

Bigger and better GTA Online

Grand Theft Auto Online will ship with an increased player count, supporting up to 30 players at the same time, on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.

Furthermore, all the currently accessible content created by Rockstar, as well as all the gameplay updates released so far, will be available on the three new platforms, with much more to come post-launch.

Gamers will be able to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to either the PS4, Xbox One or PC, in order to pick up the experience just where they left it on last-gen consoles.
