If you are one of the many Kindle Fire tablet owners, you should know that starting this week Grand Theft Auto III has been made available for your devices, too.

There are three titles included in the launch, including Grand Theft Auto III which can be downloaded for $4.99 / €4, Grand Theft Auto Vice City that can be grabbed for the same rate and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas which is a little bit more expensive at $6.99 / €5.

Those purchasing San Andreas will be getting 2,000 Amazon Coins which can be used to complete the trilogy and still have coins left to spend on other interesting content in the Amazon Appstore. Also note the new games have been made available for the Amazon Fire TV too.

Anyway, in other related news, it seems Amazon is getting ready to deliver a new set of Kindle Fire tablets and this time the US tech giant has reportedly partnered up with low-cost chip provider MediaTek in order to do so.

Rumors suggest next-gen entry-level Kindle Fire tablets will come equipped with MT8135 quad-core processors, but Amazon has declined to say whether is in fact accurate or not.

At the moment, it’s not clear whether these chips will power the entire 2014 Kindle Fire line-up or just the basic models.
