Rockstar Games, the developer of massively successful franchises like Grand Theft Auto, as well as hit titles like Red Dead Redemption, is now looking for an environmental artist who will work with next generation consoles.

Rockstar has made a name for itself by pushing devices to their limits with huge open worlds and a variety of gameplay options for those who want to explore them.

Now, it seems that the studio wants to increase its staff size in order to tackle next generation devices like the oft-rumored PlayStation 4 or Xbox 720, and has just posted a job listing for an environmental artist.

"We'd like to hear from the industry's most talented environment artists,” the listing said, via CVG. “You will be designing, building and texturing the world, have the technical knowledge to achieve great looking results and the skill to get the most from next-gen consoles."

New staff will work at the Rockstar North branch, which has been responsible for the Grand Theft Auto franchise up until now and is just putting the finishing touches on the recently announced GTA V.
