14 DAY TRIAL // Rockstar Games shared a few things about the multiplayer mode from Grand Theft Auto 5, which will be called Grand Theft Auto Online, and emphasized that there will be mechanics to prevent cheating and hacking.
Grand Theft Auto IV was the first installment to come with an official multiplayer mode, but Rockstar wants to outdo itself with the online mode in GTA V.
The studio wrote on its Newswire that Grand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer in the new title, will receive many details later this summer.
Until then, the developer confirmed that quite a few different anti-cheating systems will be implemented in the multiplayer experience, in order to keep the playing field fair.
No actual details can be shared as of yet, but Rockstar promises that actual info will be posted as we get closer to Grand Theft Auto 5's launch on September 17 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
