Rockstar Games announces the full list of improvements implemented into the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5 version that's launching on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in the following months, detailing the new first-person mode, the increased resolution, the better textures, and the many other visual effects that aren't even possible on the old PS3 or Xbox 360 versions.

GTA 5 delighted tens of millions of fans from around the world last year when it made its debut for the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, breaking sales records, reaching critical acclaim, and proving that, for very old hardware, the two consoles could still put on a good show.

For the last year, Rockstar has been hard at work remaking the game for the new PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms, taking advantage of the extra power to overhaul the whole experience and make it that much more attractive.

A full list of improvements is now available

After talking in depth about some of the biggest new features implemented in Grand Theft Auto 5 for the new platforms, like the first-person perspective and the visual overhaul, the studio now reveals, via DualShockers, a full list of improvements for GTA 5 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

These, of course, include some of the biggest ones, starting with the first-person perspective that's available both in the story mode as well as in the GTA Online multiplayer. Users can customize their controls, targeting, field of view, and other such things for this mode, as well as enjoy fully functional cockpits for their cars, bikes, boasts, or planes, as Rockstar has made sure that there's maximum immersion when playing in first-person view.

Users will also be able to enjoy over 150 new songs, DJ mixes, and radio content while driving around the huge open world, as well as more vehicle and pedestrian density, new land and sea animals, and most of the content that's been added to the game on PS3 and Xbox 360 via content updates.

Visual improvements are quite numerous

Of course, most of the improvements made to GTA 5 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One are in the visual department, as Rockstar once again highlights that the game runs at 1080p and 30fps on the new consoles and can support up to 4K resolution on PC.

The draw distance has been doubled, there are new depth of field effects, higher resolution textures, better particle quality, more wind dynamics, not to mention improved weather, damage, and lighting effects.

Grand Theft Auto 5 launches on PS4 and Xbox One on November 18 around the world and on PC on January 27, 2015.
