Grand Theft Auto 5 for the PC has just received a few new mentions in a leaked file, confirming that its GTA Online multiplayer mode will support up to 32 players, double the amount of possible users on the PS3 or Xbox 360.

GTA 5 appeared for current-gen consoles last September and, since then, Rockstar has been silent about a possible PC edition, despite a lot of interest from fans and plenty of leaks or reports.

Now, one GTAForums member has found mentions of the GTA 5 PC version in a file from the console edition, confirming that GTA Online will support up to 32 players on the new platform.

This is mentioned by an enumeration of HUD elements in the file, as well as some other parts of the same document, which describe the maximum number of players for multiplayer activities like Cops and Crooks, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, or Races.

As of yet, Rockstar hasn't mentioned anything about the new leak.
