Possible expansion teased by magazine as part of zombie special

Grand Theft Auto 5, the hugely popular open world game from Rockstar, might receive a zombie-focused expansion soon enough, at least according to a new report that's surfaced online.

GTA 5 broke sales records and delighted tens of millions of fans from around the world last fall, when it appeared on PS3 and Xbox 360. While developer Rockstar is busy adapting the game to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, onto which it will release the game this fall, it seems that another project is soon going to be revealed.

A fresh report has appeared online, stemming from the new cover of the OPM UK magazine. The image brags about the zombie-themed content within it, highlighting Dead Island 2, Resident Evil, Dying Light, H1Z1, The Walking Dead, and quite surprisingly, Grand Theft Auto 5.

Of course, no other details were given and it's unclear just how the open world game fits into the zombie theme.

The only possible solution being that a zombie-themed downloadable expansion is going to appear for GTA 5.

This wouldn't be the first time such a DLC would appear from Rockstar, as it also released the Undead Nightmare add-on for Red Dead Redemption many years ago, which went on to be quite successful due to its great story content.

As of yet, Rockstar hasn't commented on this report.
