The new promotion centers on the first vehicle that players used

The development team at Polyphony Digital and publisher Sony are launching yet another socially powered promotion for their upcoming Gran Turismo 6 by asking players exactly when they feel in love with a racing car.

The campaign features well-known driver Mario Andretti and reveals that the legend was first captivated by the sport when he found, along with friends, a classic 1948 Hudson that he managed to make ready for a professional race in less than two years.

The driver explains, “All great racers started their journey to greatness with their first car. The car that made them realize their dream of becoming a professional race car driver.”

The racing game will be launched exclusively on the PlayStation 3 on December 6.
