Gran Turismo 6 on the PS3 has just received a brand new update that brings two new Red Bull cars as well as the special Red Bull X Challenge in-game event, not to mention plenty of other bug fixes and tweaks.

Gran Turismo 6 made its debut earlier this year, and developer Polyphony Digital promised that a lot more content was on the way for the impressive racing simulator.

Now, a brand new patch has just been rolled out for the game on the PS3, bringing not just different bug fixes but also two new Red Bull-branded cars, as well as a new in-game event called Red Bull X Challenge, which sees players be mentored by 2013 Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel.

"Owners of GT6 will have the opportunity to select the first two of four new Red Bull cars. The Red Bull Racing Kart and Red Bull X2014 Junior will arrive in dealerships in-game via the update, while the Red Bull X2014 Standard and Fan cars can be expected to join them at a later stage," Polyphony said about the update on the PS blog.

Besides the new cars and event, a few major improvements are also included in the update, so check them out below.
